Meanwhile, the TPE section, due to its high elasticity, resists tearing and instantly stretches to deform, connecting the two cover plates to form a “flexible hinge.” Prevents Debris Splatter: This ensures the cover plates do not become high-velocity hard fragments after detonation, thereby avoiding secondary injuries—a critical design for occupant safety.
